Carolina is a food, beverage, restaurant, chef and cookbook photographer based out of Los Angeles. When she visits her hometown in Buenos Aires, she travels with her camera and loves to photograph local food. Her background in psychology, sociology and fine art gives her a unique sensibility to her surroundings that translates to her photography. Carolina is able to help clients capture their vision because she is attentive to details. Her studies include graduate work and social psychology research at Stanford University followed by a M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, with specialty in children and family work. Carolina developed a love of photography early in life. She studied with renowned Argentinian photographer, her uncle Andy Goldstein at his photography school in Buenos Aires. She later pursued her passion for photography in LA at Otis College of Art and Design and LA Center of Photography and is a member of ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers). Carolina believes in giving back to important causes and has done philanthropic work for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer/ L.A. Loves Alex's Lemonade, A Window Between Worlds and Garden School Foundation. Carolina is also part of the And Gather For Good team doing pro bono social media and website photography, a movement started by Pastry Chef Zoe Nathan (Huckleberry Bakery & Cafe, Milo & Olive) raising funds for different charities. She is also a featured contributor for Edible LA Magazine, a James Beard Award Publication, sharing the story of local food and culture. When she is not on a photography assignment she loves to visit the local farmers markets.
